By Plane: Bangkok Airways ( www.bangkokair.com ) is the only airline that services Samui directly from Bangkok , Pattaya, Phuket , Singapore and Hong Kong . Flights from Bangkok take approx. 45-70 minutes (depending on aircraft in use) and amount to 18-24 flights daily. There are also 2 weekly charter flights from Kuala Lumpur (Thursdays and Sundays) by Berjaya Air.

You may also wish to fly Thai Airways from Bangkok to Surat Tani and transfer to Samui by bus via ferry line. However, whilst this is a cheaper option, it also takes up much more of your valuable vacation time.
